The earliest song written for this album was Some Angels Have No Wings. This album’s songs were written between 1994-2005 but most were written in early 2000’s.
It was recorded at various locations (old building in Pleasantville and a post office basement in St. John’s) but mostly it was tracked when I had a home studio in my house.
Rick Hollett and I engineered it with final mixes done at Phase One studio by Vic Florencia in Toronto. Many local St. John’s musicians guested on it. I was able to financially record it carefully (along with exceptional art work by Tony Mitchell) as my dear uncle Dave Pike who had passed away left me an inheritance towards producing it.
Have a listen…
