I had a great interest in music even when I was 7 or 8 years old. My dad loved to sing and I recall vivid memories of him belting out church hymns and also the the popular songs for the time.
I remember one song of the day was ‘Give Me 5 Minutes More’ and that number was the the first song I played by “ear” on the piano.
